Marshal W. Linder
President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Linder joined the Company in 1997 as Vice President of Engineering and Operations, and was named President in 2003. From 1982 to 1997 he held a wide range of positions with IBM, with responsibilities including software and hardware development, industrial design, systems integration, and new business and alliance development. Mr. Linder holds MS and BS degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as a BS in Physics from Clarkson University.
Reno Fiolic
Vice President, International Sales
Mr. Fiolic joined ZOLL Medical in 1999. Prior to becoming a member of the LifeVest team, he established highly successful ZOLL direct subsidiaries in Germany, Austria and Russian Federation, and managed Distributor Sales in Eastern Europe. Mr. Fiolic has over 27 years experience in medical devices and has held a range of sales and management positions with Physio Control, IVAC, CPI, Telectronics, and Angeion.
Thomas E. Kaib
Vice President, Engineering
Mr. Kaib has been employed with the company since 1987 and has held various Engineering positions during the research and development of the LifeVest product. From 1998-2007, he served as the Director of Technology and Software Development. Prior to joining ZOLL, Mr. Kaib worked with Brown Boveri Control Systems, a building automation company, in the development of Embedded System software and hardware. Mr. Kaib holds MS and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
Jeffrey B. Morgan, Sr.
Vice President, Operations
Mr. Morgan joined the company in 2006. He has more than 20 years of leadership experience in creating high technology, high reliability manufacturing operations. He has held numerous senior level management positions with responsibilities for manufacturing operations, supply chain management, quality systems, and manufacturing engineering. Mr. Morgan holds an MBA degree with a concentration in International Business from Point Park University. He also holds a BS degree in Business, has an undergraduate degree in Management & Technologies, and has studied Supply Chain Strategy & Management at MIT, Sloan School of Management.
James Prince
Vice President, US Sales
Mr. Prince joined the Company in 2011. He comes to ZOLL with more than 17 years of Sales Management experience, most recently as US Vice President of Sales for Systagenix Wound Management. He previously spent more than 20 years with Kinetic Concepts Inc., in a range of sales, sales management, customer support, field operations, and general management positions. Mr. Prince is a US Air Force veteran, and received a BS in Business/Administration from Benedictine University.
Sean Rollman
Vice President, Finance and Administration, and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Rollman joined the Company in 2011. He comes to ZOLL with more than 19 years experience designing and managing financial operations for growth-oriented technology, service, and manufacturing companies. Most recently, Mr. Rollman was the CFO for Plextronics, Inc., a company developing technologies for printed electronics. Prior to that, he spent 8 years with FreeMarkets & Ariba. He is a CPA and began his career in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand. Sean received a BS in Accounting and Economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Michael L. Saporito
Vice President, Reimbursement Strategy
Mr. Saporito joined the Company in 2004. He has extensive experience as a financial and strategic leader in technology, software, and IT services. He has held a number of financial and operations management positions at TrueCommerce, Cisco Systems, Perot Systems, and Electronic Data Systems. Mr. Saporito holds a BS degree in Finance from West Virginia University.
Steven J. Szymkiewicz, MD
Vice President of Medical Affairs
Dr. Szymkiewicz joined the Company in 1994 as Director of Clinical Research, and was named Vice President of Medical Affairs in 1999. During his tenure, Dr. Szymkiewicz has managed clinical trials, research activities, and publications that have contributed to the FDA approval and continued development of the LifeVest. Prior to joining LifeVest, Dr. Szymkiewicz practiced medicine and held various clinical positions with the PA State Health Department, Southwest Area Agency on Aging, Burgettstown Community Medical Center, and Mon Valley Community Services. Dr. Szymkiewicz received a Doctorate of Medicine from Hahnemann University and an MS in Electrical Engineering from University of Pittsburgh.
Jason T. Whiting
Vice President, Global Marketing
Mr. Whiting joined the Company in 2008. He has over a decade of medical device sales and marketing management experience with Guidant Corporation (now Boston Scientific Corporation) and most recently MEDRAD, Inc. Throughout his career, Mr. Whiting has held a number of positions in sales, supply chain management, marketing, and global business management. Mr. Whiting holds an MBA degree with a dual major in Marketing and Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University and a BBA degree in Marketing from the University of Michigan.
